Agate Fossil Beds Tuesday June 21st. At the Agate Fossil Beds we enjoyed the fossil displays, a 45 minute hike to the two hills where the excavation took place, and a wonderful display of pictures and items of the Lakota people. We drove on through Wyoming and into Colorado to spend the night in Colorado Springs. It was a three state day! The hills where the fossils were found. JT was surprised to find a real Yucca plant. Tiny little cactus plants.

Colorado Springs Wednesday June 22nd. Garden of the Gods. A truly fantastic sight. We drove through and saw all the red rock formations and spent some time hiking around them. We were there a lot longer than expected it was so great. We had lunch at a fun restaruant recommended by Kevin Joe's Crab Shack, and visited the Focus on the Family bookstore.

Silverwood Tuesday June 15th. Silverwood was great fun a laid back amusement park and water park. Everybody enjoyed them selves and we finished the day at Olive Garden a treat for the moms. Please get me wet! We spent the night in Missoula, Montana and were on the road early the next morning. Wednesday was a driving day, spending the night in Bozeman, Montana. We are almost to Yellowstone!

Walks, talks, joys and toys. . . This beats reality TV any day. . . August 24, 2009. Every year in late July, the City of Olympia has a big party downtown called LakeFair. It’s a carnival, festival and fair wrapped up in one. We were hoping Liam would be able to ride some of the rides, but of course he was an inch too short (even with his hair!
