GerouxCrew: Marci's 14th birthday party

http://gerouxcrew.blogspot.com/2011/08/marcis-14th-birthday-party.html

Sunday, August 14, 2011. Marci's 14th birthday party. Chaos doesn't even come close to what happened here. With a cupcake war as the highlilght of the party, cupcakes and frosting were flying around our yard and into peoples hair and faces. Oh the joys of having teenagers :). Vanessa is the real Boss. She loves to be in charge. Mikaela had to wash 3 times! She had it behind and in her ears. EW! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Fabric Bows and More. Play At Home Mom.

GerouxCrew: The Crazies

http://gerouxcrew.blogspot.com/2012/07/crazies.html

Monday, July 16, 2012. The horses at my Grandma's house in Utah were the highlight of our vacation. And with carrots only .88 cents a bag at the local Walmart, they were well fed by us horse loving Alaskans. Also included in their random snacking were watermellon rinds and corn cobs. They are basically giant piggies. Did I mention that I am scared of horses? Mikaela is in heaven. So is JJ. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Fabric Bows and More. GerouxCrew: On the Cobb

http://gerouxcrew.blogspot.com/2012/05/alaskan-kids-dont-get-to-shuck-corn.html

Monday, May 7, 2012. Alaskan kids don't get to shuck corn very often and these kids were so excited, we took it outside! What a mess but oh so fun. Jamieson will eat corn on the cob but not frozen or canned corn. When asked why, he responds simply that "corn on the cob is gooder and corn. The cob is grosser". We paid .79 cents per ear which is cheap by my standards. It feels good to have a taste of summer. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Fabric Bows and More. GerouxCrew

http://gerouxcrew.blogspot.com/2011/08/few-summer-delights.html

Monday, August 1, 2011. A few summer delights. We dont' get many summertime delights up here in Alaska. One year we purchased a cheap strawberry plant from Walmart. That thing overtook our planter box and comes back to life every year. I guess we got a good strain. What luck! And every year, the strawberries get better and produce more. I love it! Fun times fishing on the Kenai. Jamieson built a "shelter" out of driftwood and everyone had muddy shoes. The girls were happy to help, can't you tell?
