Alaska's climate is notorious for its ever changing temperatures and unpredictability. The best plan for any outdoor activity is to dress in layers. With layers you are able to remove and add as necessary to stay comfortable throughout the day. Also, be sure to bring your raingear and hope that you won't end up having to use it.
