http://alaskaroadweed.blogspot.com/2008/09/whales.html

Returning Home to the Great Land. Life and photography in Alaska. Friday, September 12, 2008. Even though I grew up here, Alaska still continues to amaze me. Tim and I had decided to drive out to Portage Glacier on a beautiful Saturday a couple weeks ago. Driving by Turnagain Arm, we noticed some movement in the water; Beluga Whales! Returning Home to the Great Land: Berry Season

http://alaskaroadweed.blogspot.com/2008/09/berry-season.html

Returning Home to the Great Land. Life and photography in Alaska. Friday, September 19, 2008. Did I say that there was only two seasons in Alaska? Well, actually there is three; Winter Season, Getting ready for Winter Season, and finally the short but beautiful Berry Season (commonly called fall by Outsiders). For the last few weeks my life has consisted of picking and processing nearly 50 lbs of Alaskan wild berries. We have Crowberry pie, Crowberry jelly, frozen Crowberries, and Crowberry syrup.

Alaska Roads -- main page

One part of this site already completed is an Alaska Interstate ends photo page. You may ask. When this site is further along, I'll try to explain this mystery.) NEW! In addition, I have added photos of about half of Alaska's state route ends. Also here is the Dalton Highway Photo Journey. And crossing back into Canada. At the ...

Alaska Rob

I lean and loafe at my ease.observing a spear of summer grass. Sunday, December 30, 2012. Now that the feast days are over, and the drunken revelry is about to begin, pause if you will and consider the poor.
