MacLean Family: March 2010
http://alexandruachel.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 24, 2010. This past Friday we had game night at our place. In addition to having lots of fun playing games, we also enjoyed playing with our food! The Demings introduced us to the Tim Tam Slam. You take an Australian cookie (Tim Tam), bite two opposing corners off, use it like a straw to suck up hot chocolate, and then eat it as fast as you can once the hot chocolate touches your tongue. If you're not fast enough, the cookie falls into your drink. Giving us the demo. Picked it right up.

Sunday, January 24, 2010. Kate, Alex's sister, loves to sing. Currently, her favorite artist is Miley Cyrus. Last summer, while we were visiting in Massachusetts, Kate put on a show for Ruachel. Now, without further ado, Kate's debut. Monday, January 11, 2010. Sadie has become quite the dancer. Today she was busting a move to the Mission Impossible theme song. Enjoy! Friday, January 1, 2010. First and foremost, Sadie said Megan's name perfectly. I'll do a quick highlight. Was a lot of fun. We went to...

MacLean Family: August 2010

Monday, August 30, 2010. That's Good, That's Bad. We are finally back in Utah, for good! Alex decided not to take the job offer from Garmin. Instead, he is going to spend the next few years at the Y, completing his PhD. We get to stay close to our family and friends in UT. Plus, no move a few weeks before baby number two comes. We don't get to place an offer on that awesome house with a huge kitchen and mature yard. The popsicle was yucky and the Jazz museum was a let down. We got to see my family! My mo...

MacLean Family: July 2010
http://alexandruachel.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 24, 2010. There are a lot of fun things to do around Olathe, KS. Last Saturday, we took Sadie to the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm. It's a heritage center with hands-on living history activities and stagecoach rides. Sadie really enjoyed the animals and Alex and I had fun learning about some farming history. Admission (which was only about $5) included a ride on the stagecoach. Sadie always has to feed the goats! Tuesday, July 6, 2010. I Love My Husband! We had our dollar store test co...

MacLean Family: September 2009
http://alexandruachel.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 5, 2009. Now that the summer is over, I thought I'd give a few highlights. I apologize in advance; there are going to be a lot of photos. If you ask Alex, the best thing that happened this summer was that he got his wings. He wasted no time taking advantage of his new certification. We (Sadie too) flew to Maine to visit Granny and Baba and eat some dinner. Alex and I flew to New York to see Wicked. That was amazing! Sadie had lots of firsts this summer. She said "mama," "dada," "h...

Tuesday, June 1, 2010. An Animal Filled Memorial Weekend. We had a really fun, and really hot, Memorial weekend. Taking Sadie to the zoo has been on our to do list for a while now. We finally took her this past Saturday! Here's Sadie with a Chimp. Sadie loved the lions. They are one of her favorite animals to imitate. The male lion never came up to the window, but three females came right up to enjoy some shade. Hangin' out in the stroller. Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead. On Monday, we asked Sadie if s...

Wednesday, February 3, 2010. The Happiest Place on Earth. We were so blessed this past weekend to meet up with Alex's parents in Florida and go to Disney. This was my first time at Disney World and I enjoyed it so much that I want to go back every year. Three out of our four full days were spent at Disney World, one day per park we visited. The three parks were Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Thank you Grampy and Mimi for a wonderful trip. We loved every minute of it! Ben and Merridee Anderson.

Tuesday, October 12, 2010. This time, I do have a good excuse. The doctor put me in a splint and instructed me not to move my right thumb, in hopes the tendon would heal properly and surgery would not be needed. In case you are wondering, yes, I am right handed. Have you ever tried to not use your thumb for even a day? I really couldn't have done it without you. While in Monroe, the family went up to Monrovian (a canyon) and had a cook out. Brian roasted his first campfire hot dog! They had the best swee...

Thursday, January 8, 2009. 4th picture in your 4th file, then tag 4 people. This is my 4th picture. I was living in Massachusetts as a nanny and the couple in the photo with me are the Andersons. They hosted family home evening each Monday night. This particular picture was taken on Halloween when we had our party. The Andersons are wonderful. People and I miss seeing them every week. On a side note, I meet Alex at their house one Monday night and the rest is history. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Megan and Brian's Wedding. As promised, here is a picture of the cake I made for Megan's wedding. Remember, this was my first wedding cake ever, so be kind. Here's a picture of the happy couple. Megan had four maids, Haley, Jacee, Shanae, and me. This next picture is of Megan's side of the family, well those that went to the temple. And last, but not least, here's a picture of my small family. The wedding was beautiful! Last week Sadie had her first photo shoot experience! Ben and...
