Algonquin Park Canoe trip log June 20-27 2009. Thursday, July 2, 2009. Food for the trip. We always made coffee. I used a french press. It was a little heavy but it made good coffee. Matt normally had two oatmeal's. I usually don't eat breakfast. Some mornings a little flat bread with peanut butter. We brought granola bars, 2lbs of jerky, 3-4lbs of trail mix, peanut butter, jelly, bannock and flat bread. I used jelly packs from the restaurants or hotels. Lunch - cheese and sausage. Algonquin Park Canoe trip log June 20-27 2009. Thursday, July 2, 2009. Approx. 8.5 Miles. Sometime during the night I woke to the sound of thunder. This went on till it rain a little. Not sure how long it rained since I was dozing in and out. I slept in later than normal today and didn't crawl out of the tent till almost 7:00. We ended up paddling all the way around timberwolf.
