When I last posted I had visited Sinza and was looking forward to heping out with the eye surgeries taking place in Kibaha. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. The last case is of a four month old baby girl. She has Pierre Robins syndrome. She is extremely apathetic and is unable to be breastfed because the disease has deformed her sucking mechanism and she will choke if she tries. She is now being tube fed and her mother is being educated on how to feed her orally with a syringe.
