Tuesday, February 19, 2013. My Mom, Dad, and Laine spent the weekend with us, and it was absolutely fantastic! They were just the boost I needed to step back from my "poor big pregnant me" state of mind and realize I'm doing great and baby is almost here! One of many moments with Grandpa. He wouldn't let "Gam-pa" out of his sight. We tried to see the falls, but the spray was too cold and too thick. This is where we live, and we love it! You can tell which ones came from my phone instead of Tyler's.).

We had so much fun with our families and celebrating Lydia that we didn't take a lot of pictures. but here are some that we did take and with them the sentiment that it was the BEST DAY EVER! We love our baby girl and my Mom made the most beautiful blessing gown for her. Lydia has such a strong, sweet spirit and we love having her in our family. I love this video, even if my Mom doesn't:. The "Intellectuals" in one of many good discussions. Just feeding the Panda some ice cream.

Friday, October 26, 2012. We bought this puzzle for Thayne about a month ago, and he's just recently shown more interest in it. He'll take it and practice while I'm making dinner and we can definitely tell! He's also applying this new skill to his Legos. He'll actually lock them together to build towers and will specifically find pieces to fit in and fill the empty spaces. He's getting so smart! Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Saturday, March 30, 2013. We invited some friends to do an Easter egg hunt with us in the courtyard of our apartment complex. The McFaddens came and we had a great time. The kids loved playing on the playground and eating the candy in the eggs. Nelli loved looking for the eggs and found 3/4 of them, while Damian and little Nelly were satisfied picking up two or three eggs and eating the candy inside. We split up the eggs more evenly and Nelli got to eat a few jelly beans and was pretty happy about it.

Mrs Fields Eggnog Cookies. 2 1/4 cups flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1 1/4 cups sugar. 3/4 cup SALTED butter, room temp (Mrs. Fields calls for this). 1 tablespoon nutmeg (optional).
