Saturday, September 03, 2005. Big thanks to Justy, Callum, Lynn and David for a lovely evening last night! I think the social will be my exercise for the week! Anyways found out yesterday that I will be moving job again. This has been the way of it for the last 2 years - rotation every 6 months! Good for experience apparently but the down side is going when I'm just starting to settle and enjoy Thompson House! Find out this week where I'll be going - eek! Will try and put that into practise too!

Tuesday, August 30, 2005. So I've just figured out how to write another blog - yes and I did it on my own! Anyway am reading this book at the minute by a lady called Elisabeth Elliot and today's challenge was not to complain for 14 days! Now I don't think I'm particularly a complainer, but then there is the frustration of traffic in the morning and the fact that it takes ages for the lift to come to get me upstairs in the hospital! Saturday, October 01, 2005. Well, I got the job! Found out on yesterday afternoon! Strange how it took so long for them to tell me but it was also a time of. well testing I suppose. Turns out they offered 2 jobs and as far as I know there were only 2 candidates so it wasn't worth worrying about at all. Hilarious! I'll know for the next time! So, don't know what happens now, whether I start straight away or what cos I finished in Thompson House on yesterday (sniff sniff! Monday could be interesting.

Tuesday, September 27, 2005. Had my Senior II interview on Monday - scary stuff. It didn't go as (I) planned and the questions were pretty yuk! Decided by Monday night when I hadn't heard that I hadn't got it but it turns out that nobody had been told, and now (Tuesday night) I'm still none the wiser. Ok so last night was just another wee drive around the roads with David Murdock, just cruising around having a wee chat, called round at Dessies patrol station and got some fruit pastilles and marshmallows (for my hot chocco), all very normal. Well lets fast forward 20 minutes later and it gets much more exciting. Also to make things worse I left my marshmallows in the car! With everyday life that I've pushed God to the side. Session and Backing Vocalist. Ali is an active performer and session worker in Scotland, creating music in her own right and acting as a backing vocalist for many Scottish artists. Ali runs a private vocal tuition practice at the Noble Centre. Edinburgh and in Cowdenbeath, Fife. She also works as part of the music service for Fife Council.
