http://eleanorwratten.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, 24 January 2011. But here's some books I have read, really enjoyed and recommend:. The Girl at the Lion D'or' by Sebastian Faulkes. There's more to it than that but that is the basic premise and it has really interesting, beautiful character interactions. A really simple but interesting and beautifully written story. Fred and Edie' by Jill Dawson. I started a new...

http://suburbansanctuary.blogspot.com/2011/03/passionfruit-curd-and-crumpets.html
Life in my kitchen and beyond. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Passionfruit Curd and Crumpets. Before the curd entirely disappeared by spoon, I thought crumpets would make a much better vehicle for getting it into our mouths and so my friend Google brought me a lovely recipe to use from Sunday Hotpants. Blog The idea of making crumpets from scratch also ties in nicely with my 2011 goal of mastering the art of Making Things That Rise. I didn't have to wait too long for my first sign of success as the yeasty milk ...

Life in my kitchen and beyond. Monday, February 28, 2011. The Great Sunday Bake Off. It has been a week of stunning disbelief and horror, incredible fear and gut-wrenching sadness. I say this, writing from the safety and security of a clean, whole and solid Wellington (oh the irony). And so, we baked. It's not going to change lives, reconnect water or rebuild a city, but when the lovely people behind The Great Sunday Bake Off. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Crayfish, Watermelon and Feta Salad. http://suburbansanctuary.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Life in my kitchen and beyond. Thursday, January 28, 2010. I want some too! Unfortunately, I haven't been in the kitchen this week so I have nothing exciting to post - The HG has been taking care of all the cooking which has been very nice! As much as I love being in the kitchen, it's good to have a break occasionally to renew the enthusiasm! No food pics, but here is our dog, sulking in the door-way because I sent him outside while we were eating dinner! Tuesday, January 26, 2010. 4-5 T tamarind paste.
