Stories of crazy ex friends! With friends like this. June 30th, 2010. For a year, we got along extremely well and were very close friends. I really worked hard at teaching her how to do the particular job. We helped each other through some tough spots and also hung out socially - shopping, spa, etc. Up until then, it was one of the best working friendships that I had. Oddly enough, we buried the hatchet, but I would never trust her again. At least I can talk to her though. My issue is that I have...I rea...

Argh, I'm surrounded! - Neighbours From HELL.
http://next-door-hell.livejournal.com/40686.html
Argh, I'm surrounded! Sep 18th, 2011 at 1:22 PM. Well, I have quite a few neighbors to rant about, but Ill start with this one. The neighbors to the right of me have been living nextdoor for quite a few years, now. Theyre friendly enough, and the mans wife had been replaced by girlfriend about a year and a half ago. Hes got 3 kids, as well, one of which is creepy as sin. Well get back to that later. Who knows. Anyway. Onto the neighbor kid. Hes a nice kid, I guess. 16, autistic, but not such a severe...

Two questions on hand gear - Open Martial Arts Community Forum. Two questions on hand gear. Zen Do Kai, Australia. Progressive Martial Arts Training Center. Two questions on hand gear. Dec 2nd, 2008 @ 09:53 am. Question 1: What do you do to maintain your hand gear? What steps do you take to keep them from getting nasty and smelly over time? Question 2: I've reached the point where I need to buy a pair of 16 oz. boxing gloves. What's the difference between a pair costing $25 and a pair costing $70?

Samurai Girl's guide to the Martial Arts: Bullying isn't just for kids
http://samuraigirlsahara.blogspot.com/2013/04/bullying-isnt-just-for-kids.html
Sunday, April 28, 2013. Bullying isn't just for kids. Bullying. How does bullying make it's way onto a martial arts and fitness blog? Bullying is a lot more prevalent then we think. We often think it's just something that happens on the school playground, or in the locker room. The big guy picks on the smaller weaker guy. That's how life is, we're told. That's why many kids join Martial Arts to begin with. I don't want to be picked on anymore. I want to defend myself. Physical bullying still exists in th...

Joel Rosenberg was the author of the Guardians of the Flame series, Emile and the Dutchman, and several other fantasy and SF novels. Joel was also a firearms instructor and RKBA activist. He trained many people to allow them to get their Minnesotta carry permit. He also literally wrote the book on concealed carry in Minnesotta. To me though, I will always think of him a...

Two things - Open Martial Arts Community Forum. Zen Do Kai, Australia. Progressive Martial Arts Training Center. Jul 8th, 2008 @ 11:21 am. Two very vague questions. Thing 1: I am very new (2.5 weeks in) to martial arts. Something that really surprised me is how uncoordinated I am and how difficult I am finding it to execute even the most elementary techniques. The first day I couldn't even punch with the correct hand! Thing 2: How does one deliberately learn control? July 9th, 2008 05:57 am (UTC). As to ...

The king is dead and now we're dancing in the streets - Writer's Block: Unplugged
http://wb-unplugged.livejournal.com/117407.html
The king is dead and now we're dancing in the streets. Apr 12th, 2012 at 8:17 PM. In a survey carried out a few days ago, Italian politicians were asked about the price of gasoline. Among their answers, the highest price was "1,30 /liter", while the real value (average) is somewhere in between 1,85 and 1,90 /liter. Do the politicians of your country know the price of everyday necessities, such as food, gasoline, public transportation ticket, etc? Borders are." - Serj Tankian. 4 comments Leave a comment.
