Monday, June 23, 2014. Remember how cute and LITTLE the chicks were in the previous photos? Well they're nearly full grown now! We've had them for about 9 weeks and they've grown exponentially since the day we brought them home. They're definitely a part of the family now :). Benny has learned to pretty much leave them alone now, since the rooster has become more defensive of the hens. They've had some epic face offs from between the fence! Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Pete and Tracy Come to Town. Our friends Peter and Tracy Cook came into town for almost a month over Christmas break and into January. Girl dates are so much better than boy ones. For some reason you always bring out the inappropriate and rude in me. But some how it seems justified with you. Saturday, January 5, 2013. Seeing the Lights at Temple Square. So I realize these posts are a little out of order but a few days before Christmas we had the opportunity to go down to Temple Square and see all the lights. Every year they seem to be better than the last! They also had the candy windows back at the old ZCMI building! The ceiling in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building is SO pretty! Monday, April 14, 2014. We had the opportunity to go down to Las Vegas for a tool convention for Riley's company. They usually hold them twice a year and I didn't have a chance to go to the last one. Saturday, October 20, 2012. Camping at Washington Lake. Can you tell I'm playing a bit of catch up? About a month or so ago we went camping up in the Uintas with my sister-in-law Jessie and her boyfriend Tom. Washington lake (among a bunch of the other lakes up there) is one of my favorite places on Earth. I know I say this all the time, but we truly are BLESSED to live in such a BEAUTIFUL country.
