Monday, August 15, 2011. Hard to believe that he's already 2. Patrick's party was small this year, since we're still getting settled into the new house. The night before his birthday we had our new neighbors over for pizza and they insisted on signing Happy Birthday. Since they have 4 kids, they're a whole party in themselves! Thursday, July 15, 2010. Fourth of July at Little Black Creek. For the 4th of July we traveled to Little Black Creek. Near Lumberton, MS to spend a long weekend with MiMi, my brothers and their families. It was a bit more of an adventure than we all imaged - think 14 people in a 1.5 bathroom cabin with your favorite family of 4 sharing an air mattress in the living room - but, hey, we were all together for some good ole family fun! On a Sunday morning a few weeks ago, Lily and I were heading out to the playset in the backyard when I noticed this not-so-little caterpillar on our milkweed. Sunday, April 1, 2012. Lily had a fabulous birthday party at our house yesterday. She wanted to celebrate turning 5 with a Hello Kitty theme. This cake not only looks great, it tastes wonderful! Yes, I know she's not looking at the camera in the family pic, but Patrick's winning smile was too cute not to post). Here's Lily and her best bud, Zoe. Zoe and her mom flew all the way from Houston to celebrate with us! The girls had a great time visiting this weekend. And here are all the partying princesses!
