We have AMAZING neighbors.and I'm not just gushing because they had a shower for us. They are literally that fun. Who else would have a celebration of Michael Jackson's life? Or SE Bell night at the fair? Anyway, they went together and gave us a great baby shower! Check out the pics below:. Finally, on Frida...

For some reason, the blog isn't loading correctly on Internet Explorer. To see everything properly, try a different browser (you should anyway). Hey there, Mr. Grumpy Gills. The last post was supposed to go up last week, so you get TWO today. How exciting. Let’s have a little chat about my life. I’ve hit a low lately and I hit it hard. It’s not quite as bad as that week during the first quarter when I went home from school in tears every day (did I not mention that before? Graders, 2 with my 4. Teaching ...

I spent the next two weeks telling everyone that I wanted to go and eventually the school's director agreed that I could go. The plan was a little something like this:. Friday - leave early, drive to Bulgan and visit two schools there then continue on to Khutag-Ondor (maybe). Sunday - visit Teshig's school then head home.

The difference between this post and that one is that my furry friend finally has an official name. Enjoy the pictures of the insane cat named Omii. 1 The middle of the floor. 2 In my food cabinet. 3 In my clothes cabinet thing (eloquent, I know). 4 Under a stool. 5 In an empty box. 6 On top of my computer. 7 Up the ger pole.

One of the advantages of Mongolia over Bangkok is the constant presence of a blue sky. The sky might not be a thing of beauty, but there were many other wonderful things to see. For example, there is this lovely canal near the hotel and hospital:. I took a boat down it a couple times. A mural with cowfish and horsefish:. And that, folks, ...

Selina by the Seashore. Reflections on Life as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Fiji. Fiji is a beautiful place, far more beautiful than the postcard-perfect beaches, the ethereal coral reefs, and the crystal clear azure oceans. It has all of that, but it has a culture that is so rich, so unique, that it needs to be shared. So sharing this experience is my way of trying to make sense of it all. I hope you enjoy the experience through my words as much as I am enjoying Island life. 4 responses to this post.
