Monday, February 7, 2011. Samantha choose to be baptized when she turned eight this year. Because of Jamie's crazy schedule, and the way our stake does things, we had to wait until the first Saturday in September. But most of our family was able to be there and share in her special day. Tuesday, March 15, 2011. September has turned into a very busy month. Two birthdays and school starting, and a holiday to affect those. Riley turned 2 and JJ turned 3 this year (2010). We did another joint party this year, but kept it simple with cake and ice cream. They had a blast. Bad picture, but funny how JJ is biting his way into his present. Monday, April 12, 2010. Here's a few ADORABLE pictures of Maddie - it's always fun for me to snap random photos with a simple prop like my hat. Maddie is always so photogenic. Have I mentioned that she is SO excited when she gets a chance to touch computers or anything electronic - even the remote controls are a HUGE favorite! This girl puts EVERYTHING in her mouth and loves things with buttons and knobs. Yeah, I smell trouble. Maddie came in 4th place, which is still pretty awesome! Links to this post.

The ones we're happiest about were Maddie sitting up by herself for the first time (she made it for over two minutes without any help), Maddie finally embracing the glory of solid foods (we finally. Discovered that letting her feed herself sweet potatoes is the key), and Andrew began his first Spring Break so we got to turn off his blasted alarm for 10 whole days! And we are SO blessed! Monday, April 13, 2015. This weekend our family went on a very short road trip to visit family in western Oregon, including a quick jaunt to the coast in Lincoln City. Such beautiful and OH-SO-WINDY weather. It was too cold to play in the ocean but the kids still had a blast on the beach. Saturday, February 5, 2011. Here's a few quick pictures from the past few days that I wanted to share really quickly this morning. As you can see from the pictures, Maddie is FINALLY walking! She started taking steps before Christmas but she's been SO timid about walking on her own. Something just clicked this week and she has been walking all over the place. We just love that big grin on her face when she walks! He's now reading 138 words per minute - wow! I can't wait for the next 50! Links to this post.

Sunday, October 30, 2011. In the tradition of church parties and trick-or-treating, we usually get to dress up twice and end up with more candy then mom wants to think about. The church Halloween party was on Friday, and this is how we looked. And we all know that Transformers transform from a robot to a vehicle.
