Nelson Family Annual Pinnacle Peak Hike. Yes, I'm a little crazy, but I don't like being cold. :). So, back to our hike. Niko was my hiking buddy, so there will be lots and lots of pics of Niko, plus he's just so cute and happy and adorable. We're catching up to the Brad, Katie, Alex and Corin group. They decided to wait for us here since i had the backpack with the treats. Proof that I was on the hike. Arizona is just so beautiful! Posted by Nelson Family. Alex has an interesting way of eating spaghetti.

21 June 2009: Happy Father's Day! I think father's day 2008 was my first blog - since we were in Utah and Brad still in Deutschland. Well we are all together this year and went a little crazy with the presents - I think because usually for birthdays and Christmas we cannot think what to get Brad, but had lots of ideas this time. FROM NIKO: My Dad's name is: Father. How old is your dad: I don't know 8? Posted by Nelson Family. HP Golf Tournament at Camelback Golf Club. I was the golf cart driver - that wa...

Nelson Family: Salt Lake City - 30 July 2010
http://nelsonfamilyof6.blogspot.com/2010/08/salt-lake-city-30-july-2010.html
Salt Lake City - 30 July 2010. It's such a long drive from Yellowstone to Phoenix (17 hours non-stop) so we decided to stop and stay the night in Utah at Mom and Dad Nelson's (although we missed Mom - she was camping at girls' camp). Plus, after 3 nights of camping, we needed beds and showers. :). So angelic. at least it lasted long enough to get the shot. The other photo has Corin putting his pointer fingers in his nostrils. this one was much better. Posted by Nelson Family. Boating - many days in August.

Nelson Family: 1st Day of School 2010
http://nelsonfamilyof6.blogspot.com/2010/08/1st-day-of-school-2010.html
1st Day of School 2010. The first day of school - ever - for our little Sweet Pea, Niko - he was very sad to leave me, but has had a great time in Kindergarten - yea! Poor Corin is so lonely with just me that he's been trying to convince George, our cat, to play with him, but G just wants to nap. At least Niko looks excited - too early, too sunny for Alex and Katie. There's Niko on his 1st day of K. Posted by Nelson Family. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brad, Jen, Katie, Alex, Niko and Corin.

What happens when I'm rushing. This is what happened to the door way between the kitchen-pantry and the garage - my wedding ring somehow in my haste got stuck into the door moulding (left indent), the door slammed shut, causing my ring to move to make the next indent, my finger immediately began to swell, and very fortunately I thought to get the ring off, which was good, since my finger swelled up immensely! I had ice on it the whole drive to church, and on and off for the next hour. Brad, the oldtimer.

The 2008 end of year. And the winners (only contestants! Are Alex and Niko. It was such a sunny, warm ( 70*F. Day, and the pool was just too inviting. Apparently 53*F. Posted by Nelson Family. Alex got Katie a 20Q, just like Oma's and Niko got a Diego cup. Corin: "why are they holding MY shoes - I've never had any before, have few presents and these bigger people take them and smile, if I could just reach that one, maybe I can make it move by staring at it.". Nelson Family: How quickly things can change....
http://nelsonfamilyof6.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-quickly-things-can-change.html
How quickly things can change. Here we are last week out at Lake Pleasant - it was a pleasant 106* for the high on the last day of September. We had a bit of fun - Katie even got up on the water skis! And on Friday, the first day of October - sunny, beautiful. Corin going in for the slide and overtaking Niko (he has no fear). Our beautiful backyard, with a lovely vegetable garden (just out of sight), we loved our Cucumbers. Check out those 'golf balls'. Looks like a winter snow. My garden is decimated!
