Living Sacrifice is Worship: March 2011
http://livingsacrificeisworship.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 17. A Day of Errands. Well I had a productive day. Yesterday, between the txt-ing and the phone calls, my video editing got delayed rather late and for a bit I was beginning to wonder if I was going to get everything done! I even managed to eat dinner in the middle of my editing; thats how late one video was running! And I did most of my laundry in the middle of all that too! In the end, thought, I did managed to get everything done I wanted to! An hour past my bed time! Oh, but what I ha...

Living Sacrifice is Worship: Healing
http://livingsacrificeisworship.blogspot.com/2014/02/healing.html
Thursday, February 20. All too often the idea comes to me as someone asks for me to pray for them as they are need of a miracle. The thought is of course one we have probably all thought at one point or another, one that is ingrained in our minds: How can I ask for this, when I am so obvious broken. How can I do this, when I do not have enough faith [or whatever] to be healed too? It is funny how we lay everything so contingent on ourselves. Do you see how often the word "I" was used? Healing. Just t...

http://childofgod322.blogspot.com/2011/08/back-2-school-extravaganza.html
Following Where He Leads. Saturday, August 13, 2011. Back 2 School Extravaganza. We have the coolest church ever! For lots of reasons, but we'll just start with one. The Back 2 School Extravaganza. A free carnival for local kiddos. Yesterday we helped set up. The highlight - cleaning the 14 bounce-houses. Mazes, slides, obstacle courses.we even found a leak and closed the opening.we're heroes! Today we supervised the kiddos playing in the bounce-houses. At the end of the day, we got to deflate them, ...

Following Where He Leads: The Death of a Vision...
http://childofgod322.blogspot.com/2011/07/death-of-vision.html
Following Where He Leads. Monday, July 18, 2011. The Death of a Vision. A year and half ago, I was in Costa Rica, learning about working with Children at Risk. One day, one of our speakers talked about vision and the process God takes us through to refine our vision and then make the vision a reality. All I remember now is that step 6 or 7 in the process, is "the death of a vision," the part where we give up and realize it's not going to happen, unless He makes it happen. And that's where I was at. We do...

My Commentary and Technical help: June 2014
http://bobdavis321.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
My Commentary and Technical help. Monday, June 23, 2014. One Crazy Virus claimed to be from the "Metropolitan British Police". Someone showed me a computer this weekend with a virus that I could not even beat in safe mode. All I could do was to re-install Windows. The best I could do was to get the task bar to pop up for a split second. In safe mode the computer just restarts into regular mode and went back to this screen. I had to use a camera to take a picture of it. Links to this post. I work on anyth...

Following Where He Leads: India Now, or Later?
http://childofgod322.blogspot.com/2010/02/india-now-or-later.html
Following Where He Leads. Friday, February 19, 2010. India Now, or Later? Yesterday, Rick talked about Vision and how the Father leads us in steps of faith in the process. As I’ve been preparing to go to India, I’ve been all over the place in the processes. He puts a dream in our heart. 8211; live/serve in India. Take action to carry out the dream. 8211; move to Idaho, go with a group to India, take another team to India. The Father gives us some release in the vision. Than we face challenges. Since I pl...

Living Sacrifice is Worship: Lessons from...weather
http://livingsacrificeisworship.blogspot.com/2014/03/lessons-fromweather.html
Thursday, March 13. The weather was great.for about two days. Sunny Snow melted away. Great for a walk. And another walk. And, did I really have to come back inside? Lance enjoyed it too, of course (had to have an excuse to go back out, so I dragged him off into the woods, where there was still some snow for him to frolic in! Then yesterday came. Whiteout. Roads closed. Warnings to the affect of "don't go out unless emergency." Everything was canceled. It got me thinking about two things:. 1) My mom used...

Living Sacrifice is Worship: Thank You for Pain
http://livingsacrificeisworship.blogspot.com/2014/02/thank-you-for-pain.html
Sunday, February 9. Thank You for Pain. Your love never fails. It never gives up. It never runs out on me.". Today, in church as we were singing those words, I found myself saying to God, "Thank You for pain.". What am I saying? Why would I say that? Let me back up and explain a little about myself for those who do not know me too well or have not known me since infancy. And where have I been? And then a couple years ago that all changed when the pain started coming back. Where is my faith? But then toda...

Following Where He Leads: Chaos on the East Coast
http://childofgod322.blogspot.com/2011/07/chaos-on-east-coast.html
Following Where He Leads. Monday, July 25, 2011. Chaos on the East Coast. This past few days have been quit exciting. Starting with flying to my mom's, spending the night, and then borrowing her car to go visit Daune's great aunt and cousin in NJ. Like all good Italians, we had Italian food for dinner. Duane and I took a bus across the river to see Tines Square all lit up. We hopped back in the car and got to my friends house in time to watch the sunset over Lake Ontario. After Church and lunch, we heade...

Following Where He Leads: Camping
http://childofgod322.blogspot.com/2011/08/camping.html
Following Where He Leads. Monday, August 8, 2011. Immediately upon arriving home (after driving all week from the east coast), we went camping.who does that? Oh yeah, my husband. He said we have to go camping this summer, and we've only got 2 weeks left before we go to India, so why not go now? It's even more fun when they are wondering who just got married and we say, "we all did! Nope, this was just completely random people who somehow knew each other.and we knew 2 of them. Since we arrived aft...We do...
