Love God, Love People. News in Sierra Leone. What You Can Do. Monday, April 30, 2012. My first reaction when I stepped on the beach was a dropped jaw. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The crystal sapphire water and white sugar sand lifted me away from work and ministry directly to the presence of God’s wonderful creation. I think this is my new favorite getaway! The resort was destroyed during the war, but since has reopened and rebuilt. Rooms are available at a steep price and the food is good.

The Mitchells in Bolivia. Monday, July 14, 2014. Each year the Bolivian school system shuts down for two weeks during the coldest part of the year. I got the opportunity to take the 10 boys from our boys home on a trip to Toro Toro national park. Toro Toro is a small pueblo about 5 hours from Cochabamba by bus and is home of some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. The boys loved the trip! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It is amazing how they have grown and developed over the past 12 months. We held a small party at our house with the kids and a few volunteers.
