A Life Worth Chasing. The Heat is Real. September 22, 2015. I would if I could…but the power bill would kill me! Fortunately, I have not been in my apartment often, so am only really losing sleep over the issueno biggy, eh. 😉 If you’ve been following my facebook page you may have a pretty good idea of what I have been up to the past few months. A Life Worth Chasing. Guyanese Pumpkin & Roti Recipe. October 1, 2014. 1 small yellow onion. 2 wiri wiri peppers (scotch pepper). 1 tsp salt to start (add more to suit your taste). Dash of black pepper. Dash of any dried herbs you like. 1 sprig of thyme. 1/2 tsp curry powder. 1/2 tsp brown sugar. This recipe is just a foundation, you can add any additional seasonings you prefer. Chop pumpkin into large pieces and peel skin off. Cut each large piece of pumpkin into smaller 1/2 inch pieces. Set aside.
