A little bean sprout. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Although nothing like I had planned, this picture is so incredibly beautiful to me.my birth photo. I treasure it. Thank you, Angela, for being there and capturing the first seconds and minutes of my little boy's life into this new world. A little bean sprout. Monday, August 17, 2009. A little bean sprouted. Zach Finley McDonald was born this morning at 12:27am. He was 8 lbs even and 19 3/4 inches long. The labor and delivery were not what we expected and yet somehow so wonderfully fulfilling. More on that later, only to add that Kirsten and Darren were absolutely amazing. A little bean sprouted today. Thank you, Lord, for this very special day. I have been thinking about you guys often. So glad hes here and cant wait to meet him. Rejoici...

Call it what you want, but a lot has been going on at our house the past couple of weeks, very little of which even impacts the baby's room. instead, it is in the areas where we spend our family time together.and that seems even more important. It already feels like a brand new nest. And, i'm excited about spending more time in this new place. Things seem to be falling into place, and the stress level is going down. Thank you, Lord, for another day.
