Sunday, June 17, 2012. We went down to Houston to visit Jason's long time friend Chris and his family. It was all planned by his wife and me to surprise Chris! We stayed the weekend in their house - four adults and 9 kids - it was really fun! Summer was an amazing host. She worked so hard and everything was great. During the day, she took time out and did some science experiments with Emma. She is so sweet. We swam and played and talked and laughed. Houston and they had art projects for the whole family.

For her 8 th. Birthday, I made over Emma's room! I took the doors off of the closet and hung a peace signs and hearts door curtain. Pink and hot pink zebra stripe with pink feather boa curtains. Emma's middle name is Faith - so she has a wall with her verse on it. I like this picture because it shows the room is clean. a first and a last for Emma! Her pretty bed. Notice the big white eye sore? I made the big letters out of chipboard and metallic spray paint. I also glued the ribbon on to the black frame.
