Wednesday, April 8, 2015. A Walk Through the Tulips. I wish I could say that the tulips were blooming right now, but around here, the tulip blooms are 3 or 4 weeks out yet. I work in downtown. Where, as you can imagine, with a name like Holland, tulips are a pretty big deal! Holland is home to a huge. This year will be the 86th year! There are literally millions of blooming tulips to see. 33 Shades of Green: Weekend Kitchen: Fettuccine with Creamy Gorgonzola Sauce
http://www.33shadesofgreen.com/2015/04/weekend-kitchen-fettuccine-with-creamy.html
Monday, April 13, 2015. Weekend Kitchen: Fettuccine with Creamy Gorgonzola Sauce. You know how sometimes you see a recipe and know right there that you need to make it immediately? That's what happened to me with this one. Everything about it sounded appealing to me. Also, this is super simple to make and the ingredients list is not huge. Serve this with a salad and maybe some warm crusty bread, and you've got a great meal in no time flat! 1 lb fettuccine or similar pasta. 2 T extra-virgin olive oil.

33 Shades of Green: November 2014
http://www.33shadesofgreen.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 23, 2014. A few years ago, I posted this. Idea It is one of the most pinned posts from my blog. I thought I'd put together an updated version (with much better photos! This idea is so simple to put together and inexpensive too. Clear glass vases of various sizes. Berries or branches (I used Michigan Holly and American Holly; rose hips also would work and I also think pine branches would be beautiful). I finally added the candles. I just love how they look. 33 Shades of Green: Easy DIY Raised Garden Bed Tutorial
http://www.33shadesofgreen.com/2015/05/easy-diy-raised-garden-bed-tutorial.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Easy DIY Raised Garden Bed Tutorial. If you follow me on Instagram. You may have seen the photos I posted of the raised garden beds I built a few weeks ago. They were so easy to build and I absolutely love how they turned out! 1 The finished size of my beds is 3'x6'. This was a manageable size for me since the space where the beds are located is very narrow and I can only access each bed from one size. 5 Each bed cost around $100 to build (cedar isn't cheap! 6) 5/4" x 6" cedar bo...

Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Weekend Kitchen: Fresh Corn and Ricotta Pasta. I saved this recipe from the Every Day with Rachel Ray Magazine. See the original recipe here. 1 pound pasta (Original recipe called for shells but I used the beautiful pasta pictured above). 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling. This pasta reci...
