Monday, March 26, 2012. Although this weekend was not a super restful one, it certainly was fun and didn't seem to fly by which is always nice! We were so excited about Saturday because it was Brett's first race! He has been running with Pudge many mornings at 5:00 am! Brett is athletic but never really been a runner so this has been a huge sacrifice and I have been so proud of him! He decided to do his first race, the Azalea Trail Run, and not just the 5K, he went for the 10K! Warming up. :). Seems craz...

Which has been busy, stressful, and fun! He spent some time preparing for his next semester. She learned a whole lot during her study of James and finished that up this week. She headed to Buffalo to be a bridesmaid in two very special people's wedding. He is still going strong in the real world and is enjoying his job. She continued to sub a bit. He has been a huge encouragement to her. They worked on their house. A LOT. And are pretty much over the painting. They finished marriage counseling. She had her very first wedding shower. He finished up his 8th grade season of basketball and is almost done with varsity. She had one of the hardest months of her life. He was an amazingly understanding, caring, and encouraging husband. I have cut out the fabric, made the cording, and have the cushion material all ready. I just haven't quite made it to the part of the program where you actually sit down at the sewing machine and stitch it all together, cover the cushions and place them nicely on her front porch furniture.
