A little grass at sunrise: October 2011

http://www.alittlegrassatsunrise.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

A little grass at sunrise. Thursday, October 13, 2011. Well, well and well. Well, it's been a shockingly poor performance this year. My excuse? Yes, well, the small matter of a baby arriving in February. I haven't even been taking many photos of this whole Young and Kellow operation we've got running here. Oh well. Here are a few from the last 9 months or so. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Friends That Blog. The Wanderings and Adventures of Cole, Oliver and Sam Har-yuen. Well, well and well.

A little grass at sunrise. Thursday, September 6, 2012. A long, long time ago. Aliah turned ten. And he liked bikes. This may have been one of my first cut-out cards ever. Clearly I dug it because I took a photo of it. I have been less than successful at documenting all the cards I have made since then but I am making much more of an effort to do so! A little grass at sunrise. Sunday, March 21, 2010. Ms Daffodil Girl. Isn't she adorable? I'm not taking a lot of credit here. I didn't invent her or anything. I made her during our last craft night/school meeting (oh, the benefits of Waldorf). Very fun and inspiring, you just need to have the materials really. She's here just in time for spring. Coming soon. birthday crown for son #1 and dusty gnome. I bet you can hardly wait! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Friends That Blog. View my complete profile.

Kicking Clay: March 2011

http://claykicking.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Occasional thoughts about raising dust and finding treasure. Saturday, March 26, 2011. Turns out this year is just not at all, even the tiniest bit, about me. It is not about baking more bread and making more time for myself. It is not, so far, a great year. It's not even a good year. It's been a shitty year, actually, so far. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Kicking Clay: A Sheepish Return

http://claykicking.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-sheepish-return.html

Occasional thoughts about raising dust and finding treasure. Monday, September 17, 2012. Well, here I sit waiting for the next big event in our family's life. The arrival of baby two. And I'm thinking that's as good an excuse as any to update this erratic online record of our little lives! I know in a matter of days (maybe hours? Ah well. Perhaps I can find something distracting on YouTube. Labels: The View From Here. But you still need to go bowling! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The View From Here.

http://claykicking.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Occasional thoughts about raising dust and finding treasure. Monday, June 20, 2011. Just wanted to say, belatedly, happy father's day to all the fathers, papas, pops, daddys, and dads who I saw out and about yesterday enjoying their children and being an important part of their lives. You are making our future better. Thank you. And to the dads I personally celebrate on this day. I love you. Life as we know it. The "You Are Here Room" at Daddy Longlegs Art Hotel in Cape Town. Kicking Clay: Time flies!

http://claykicking.blogspot.com/2011/05/time-flies.html

Occasional thoughts about raising dust and finding treasure. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Already gone ten days and only my first entry! Partly the busy days, partly the unpredictable nature of this place, partly the irratic Internet access. Certainly not for lack of material to write about! And in the last week - we've toured around Cape Point, visited Kirstenbosh gardens, hiked on Table Mountain, shopped, eaten amazing food, and visited lots with family. How's that for a summary? Thanks for the blog update!

Sunday, July 31, 2011. I need to organize more often. Yesterday my sister came over and DEEP cleaned my kitchen, i mean deep! She removed everything from EVERY surface and cleaned it with clorax spray, then cleaned out my fridge, reorganized my cabinets. i have to say i don't think the kitchen has EVER been cleaner. EVER! I think she needs to open her own cleaning service, she really is amazing. My nephew helped me sort beads and get my craft area 85% complete. Links to this post. Friday, July 29, 2011.

A Little Gratitude Goes a Long Way

A Little Gratitude Goes a Long Way. Tuesday, January 13, 2015. December 31, 2014. So I put off writing this for a really long time because I wasn't sure how I wanted it to end. I have been debating whether or not it should end or whether or not I was going to continue it. But I think I want to wrap it up. On my wall I have this hanging:. Life is an opportunity.benefit from it. Life is a game.play it. Life is a dream.realize it. Life is a challenge.meet it. Life is a duty.complete it. December 30, 2014.
