The Whartons: June 2009
http://rachaelandtyler.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 22, 2009. After only a 2 hour flight from Houston, we land in Cancun - humidity and all. We decided to take our boys and Tyler's Mom Heather came with us too. We stayed in a beautiful Marriott property right on the beach with an oceanview. Is the water really that turquoise? Here is what we did:. Ventured to the local Wal Mart to pick up breakfast/juice/snacks. Ate yummy tacos in their food court. They were like $1.25 for 3 tacos al pastor. Visited Tulum and Chichen Itza - ancient Mayan Ruins.

Friday, September 19, 2008. We're back.sort of. It's good to finally be able to write this. I'm sure that some of you have been waiting patiently for word on how our family is doing in the aftermath of the hurricane, and in all honesty, we are fine. The hurricane was a neat and frightening experience, but one that I don't really want to live through again anytime soon. Friday, September 12, 2008. Today is the day! Thursday, September 11, 2008. Sunday, August 9, 2009. For my birthday this year, my Mom offered to watch the boys while Tyler and I went to New York. This was my very first time and Tyler hadn't been since he was 14 so it was basically a first for the both of us exploring the city together. We left on a Thursday night and got back late Tuesday night. I'm best at writing travelogues, so here it goes:. Day 4 - Walked from 23rd to 53rd in 30 minutes to get Student Rush tickets and found out that Shrek, Wicked and Chicago don't perform o...

http://whimsicalconcoctions.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2009. In about 2 weeks everything is going to come to a screeching halt for a while. I'm trying to cram in all the fun summer activities possible before the baby comes. The Utah Symphony is putting on an outside concert tomorrow night, we may be going to that. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Come on, we all have them. Now, you can laugh at the expense of others awkward family photos. Michael and I laughed for about an hour straight going through the site. Go check it out. Maya and Mason were b...

http://whimsicalconcoctions.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Aprils Homeschool Field trip. Our April field trip was a tour of the capitol building. I wasn't really that excited about this one, especially since our last field trip. Was so much fun. But, if you haven't ever taken a tour, I would recommend that you take one. It was very interesting for me as well as the kids. The House of Representatives:. Did you know that for the state of Utah, they are only in session for 45 days? The architecture and paintings were just beautiful!

http://whimsicalconcoctions.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 31, 2010. So Long, Farewell. Alberta, say adeu. That's how the song goes, right? It is time to say good-bye, ciao, Sayonara, Au Revoir, Adios to Life's Sweet Surprises. I have been debating whether to keep this blog going for a while, since it has been badly neglected. With facebook and my backyard farming blog, I no longer have a need for this blog. I will be posting about our endeavors to eat healthier, live more frugally, and our efforts to expand our backyard farm. Well, the workshop...
