Bellylaughs & Bellyflops: August 2013
http://bellylaughsandbellyflops.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 17, 2013. We Finally Have A Girl. I can hardly believe it. We have a dog. We have a 5 month old Puggle (a mix of a Pug and Beagle). The boys are head over heels for her and totally smitten. Not ever being an animal person, ever, I'm stunned at how we got here. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame. I voiced a recurring thought I had been having, a tentative one, one that I had been occasionally stewing on over the past year or so. What if we got a dog? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Bellylaughs & Bellyflops: July 2013
http://bellylaughsandbellyflops.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Life goes on at our house, continuing to be full of bellylaughs and bellyflops. And it's not inconsequential. I know that. Just don't think me heartless for plowing on with my posts as if everything is hunky dory. Trust me, this whole thing is very much a part of my everyday life. In case you were wondering, Becky continues to fight. She's into her 3rd week of radiation and chemotherapy. It's tough going, after all it is her brain. Friday, July 5, 2013. And I'm so grateful for the...

Bellylaughs & Bellyflops: October 2014
http://bellylaughsandbellyflops.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2014. A Dream Come True. We're back. We've been back for 6 days, and I can say I'm not a huge fan of real life right now. Where's my theme music when I'm driving around in my van? On second thought, why am I the one driving to where I need to go? Why doesn't my food magically appear when it's mealtime? Why am I even thinking about menu planning and grocery shopping? Where's my cute, themed room that's magically cleaned everyday? To top it all off, my parents and youngest sister joi...

Bellylaughs & Bellyflops: May 2014
http://bellylaughsandbellyflops.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 18, 2014. Has your family joined in on the Rainbow Loom craze? Though it is waning now at our house, we did definitely partake. A St Paddy's Day 5K. On St Patrick's Day weekend, the boys ran a 5k with some dear friends of ours. Though it was a bit chilly out, everyone was pretty excited! After the race, the energy wasn't quite as palpable. :) This next picture about sums up how it went for Abram and Seth. At the Awards Ceremony. No cake for Seth this year. He wanted Krispy Kremes. For his bir...

Tuesday, July 1, 2014. As soon as school got out we headed out on a road trip. Sam had some offices to visit, so rather than flying out we all hopped in the car and hit the road. We made a big circle as we first hit.wait for it.Omaha, Nebraska, and then the exciting destination of Des Moines, Iowa, followed by Independence, Missouri, then Kansas City, and back home. Now, I know what you might be thinking. Could we have gone on a less interesting trip? Would that even be possible? Abram was the first to c...

Bellylaughs & Bellyflops: January 2014
http://bellylaughsandbellyflops.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Chase has had some major work done in his mouth this past year. It has consisted of teeth pulling, and 2 expanders (the first time around it. Didn't work), and now a retainer. He's been a champ through it all! On top of Devil's Head Fire Lookout. A handprint to cherish. A field trip of Seth's I helped chaperone. Abram wrestled for his middle school this year. This was him all duded up for his first dual meet. How does this even happen? I'm just glad no one. Was on the bottom!

Monday, June 24, 2013. Good Heavens, The Boy Turned Seven! Chase had a birthday last weekend. My baby is growing up before my eyes. Heartbreaker. He had a superhero themed birthday party. We played games that tested their strengths and abilities to see which superhero they were most like. At the end of the party they found out which superhero they were. I think it turned out okay. At least the birthday boy had a good time. Pinterest eat your heart out. Favorite Book: Jack and Annie books. Chase is a bund...

Bellylaughs & Bellyflops: September 2013
http://bellylaughsandbellyflops.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 25, 2013. I know that after over a month's hiatus, this is a silly post to begin with. However, with school back in session this pet peeve has been ever present in my life. I must gripe about it somewhere. I must get it off my chest once and for all. Do you want to know what drives me crazy. Then quickly blow off or shake off or wipe off, or I-don't-care-how-off, the eraser shavings, and then. Do your children do this? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
