An earthquake measuring 5.9 magnitude was the first. We were unaware and thought there was something wrong with the car, ha ha. We saw a lot of animals in the yard just after the hurricane. We had a few friends over, old and new, to celebrate Dora style, and we got to play on the new swing set that was just installed (in the rain, poor installer guy). Since Patrick has to travel for work a lot this month, we got right to decorating for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. Tree? Up Outside lights and ornaments? Up Glowing inflatable Santa? Yup, he's up too. Advent calendar filled with treats? Check Little People Nativity out? Check Christmas books out and Fall books put away? Check Pumpkin Spice and Macintosh candles replaced with Mistletoe and Home Sweet Home candles?

The Stories of Boys (and two girls! Monday, April 27, 2015. A family in our homeschool group had an egg hunt for the kids this year. It was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy spring. Rachel had just gotten her cast off, so she wasn't walking. I grabbed a few eggs and placed them close to her, so she wouldn't miss out with all the toddlers running around.
