Air Force Life and Love. Newer posts →. My Mom’s Birthday. August 29, 2013. My mom passed away a little over two years ago. I feel rocked and broken to the very core of my being. She was my best friend. Some days I forget and I try to call her. It’s still so fresh, new and honestly feels fake. After we finished eating cake, I wrote special notes to mom on the balloons and walked over to the dock. I let the balloons go and I honestly just felt her all around me. I miss someone in Heaven. I miss you Mom.
