Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Rain is a Good Thing. Tonight I came out of session to a full on thunderstorm. It was POURING outside. I was SO happy! I headed out to my car and after dropping a friend off at hers I decided that since I was already wet I may as well just enjoy it so I got back out and started running and splashing and twirling in the rain. I LOVE rain. Love. Love weather - wind, rain, clouds. But especially more so now that I live in Vegas and it is so exceptional. Wednesday, July 25, 2012.

Monday, July 9, 2012. Grad school is awesome. My professor passed out crayons today. which was a good thing because i have zero attention span for class anymore. 3 hours is simply too long to have to sit still! She told us to color our favorite childhood memory. I drew lake powell of course. We leave in 51 days for our trip this year. i am SO excited. I've had this blog for four years now and i've never gone this long without writing. Monday, November 21, 2011. I have previously blogged. About my love of back roads and Rodney Atkins song "Take a Back Road.". I don't think I ever really appreciated the joy of back roads until I experienced a daily commute through the downtown of a major city. [yes. I take pictures with my phone when I'm driving when I'm at a dead stop. sue me.]. Sitting in six lane backed up traffic, horns a honkin', I've about had it. Takes on a whole new meaning when it becomes a daily expectation. Moved to Las Vegas.
