Musings from the McGaughey family! Thursday, July 31, 2014. Any sweet really, but she certainly had fun with her dessert tonight! I guess it's okay since she is 18 months old today :). Definitely bath time after that mess. First, lets comb our hair. Next some teeth brushing. Then comes my favorite part, a naked bottom in a bath tub! Marcie has to come check out what's going on in the tub, of course! Enough hair to be messy! Monday, July 28, 2014. I mean, she really loves books. She LOVES the library.

Thursday, March 14, 2013. Mimi's new sweet baby arrived yesterday! She was born 3/13/13 at 12:20pm, weighing 8 pounds 14.7 ounces and 22 1/2 inches in length. She has a ton of dark hair (similar to Logan's when he was born) but she did not get his beautiful eyelashes :( She has taken well to breastfeeding and overall is doing great! Shawn and I are so excited to be Auntie and Uncle again! Shawn's looking forward to our next baby already so he can form his swimming relay team with the kiddos!

Thursday, January 3, 2013. It is that time again. Time to pack away all the Christmas stuff. Normally I am so fast about getting everything up and that gives me a lot of time to enjoy it.not so this year! I was so pokey about getting my decorations up, and now it's time to put them away already :( I could leave them out longer, but seeing as the baby is coming sometime in the next month, I figure I should get everything put away otherwise it may be out until summer! Musings from the McGaughey family! Monday, May 12, 2014. I know this Easter post is WAY late, but.well, I'm not making up excuses. I just haven't felt like posting. I will now though because Nora was super cute (even though I was at work so I missed it all! She started out her day with Blueberry Pancakes.yummy! Then it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt! I filled her eggs with Goldfish Crackers and Shawn hid them in plain site around the living room. She had such fun! Check out this video.

Musings from the McGaughey family! Saturday, August 15, 2015. Nora recently starting taking her play phones, opening it up, holding it in front of her face and saying "say cheese! At first I was confused by this.didn't she realize it was a phone? Then it hit me.duh! I take pictures of her with my phone ALL THE TIME. Of course she would be confused about the use of her play phone. She probably barely realizes what an actual camera is! Here are my favorites so far. Our sweet Marcie Moo. She loves this frog.

Friday, April 19, 2013. Marcie's world has been totally changed with the addition of Nora to our family. She has taken to it beautifully, but I still feel bad that I can't give her the attention that I did before. Sunday, May 27, 2012. If (when) I get pregnant I will continue to share recipes as I find them! For now, enjoy this one that I love! Couscous salad with chickpeas and vegetables. Pregnancy benefit: Protein, iron, vitamin C, folic acid and fiber). 3 cups cooked couscous (3/4 cup uncooked). 2 Tbsp wine vinegar. 1 sm clove garlic, crushed. 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard. 3 Tbsp olive oil. 12 cherry tomatoes, halved. 1/2 cup diced red peppers. 2/3 canned artichoke hearts, quartered. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley.

Musings from the McGaughey family! Sunday, August 9, 2015. My stepdad was here visiting last week and the kiddos had a blast with "crampa." On the last day he was here we took the kids to the Austin Zoo, and Eric and Allison came along as well. Allison is going to start volunteering there soon, so she had a lot to tell us about the zoo. The Austin Zoo. Amelia loved the zoo right away because we saw a peacock as soon as we walked in. Birdie! These kids are so freakin' cute! Me and my little clone :).
