A work in progress. ROW80: Starting 2014 with a plan. January 2, 2015. Hello friends, I am now blogging on my very own domain, www.amyhaha.com. It is not much fancier, yet, but it has a lot of other flashy behind the scenes stuff, like the ability to subscribe to a newsletter based on your preferred topics! Assuming I actually post more in 2015 than I did in 2014! Hopefully by the end of the year it will be fancier, as I figure out this development stuff. In the meantime, come by just to say hi! Sorry, y...

A work in progress. I’m a writer and editor, and a proud member and the president of the South Jersey Writers’ Group, at least until there is a coup to throw me out (or 2015, whichever comes first). Talented, caring group of people! The South Jersey Writers’ Group published their first book in 2012, Tall Tales and Short Stories from South Jersey. It was a hoot, so much in fact that we did a Kickstarter Campaign and raised enough money for two more! I have been a die-hard NaNoWriMo. Enter your comment here.

A work in progress. Testing the Microsoft WordPress App. Blog has mooooved →. ROW80: Starting 2014 with a plan. January 12, 2014. I’m starting late, but that’s no surprise. It takes me a long time to process the old year and make plans for the new, so I think I’ve finally figured out my status from last year, and how to kick some more butt in 2014. Last year was a little…odd, in terms of personal achievement. I incorporated a non-profit writers’ group. And managed to donate to a few other charities!

Literary Debauchery: A sort of blog. Mangling the English language since 1985. Small Town Ghosts teaser. On the writing front, I’ve been working, albeit slowly. Besides actual writing and editing, there’s been a lot of work on my successor as vice-president for the South Jersey Writers’ group. I’ve read several good books this year, but again it’s been slow going and I haven’t read as much as I would have liked. Currently, reading Joshua and the Lightning Road. Follow Blog via Email. Literary Debauchery: A sort of blog. Mangling the English language since 1985. Small Town Ghosts teaser. Or, AKA…December. It’s December. National No Novel Writing. Month for me. Yes I am coming down off the high from my Nanowrimo win. A Stitch in Time clocked in at 50,001 words. Although not finished, I’m well on my way to completing it. But you will not see me writing 50,000 words in December. As Lisen Minetti, pointed out in her blog post, What About December? Whew* quite a list. No one could ever...

Literary Debauchery: A sort of blog. Mangling the English language since 1985. Small Town Ghosts teaser. 50 of My Favorite Things. Back last winter, my friend Shveta. And I were talking about writing and creativity as we normally do and she challenged me to list things, phrases, etc that inspire me and that I like. Having both the need to write a blog post and the inability to come up with a coherent topic, I thought this would be a good exercise. This list is not ranked. The sky during a cold winter dawn.

War is hell, the old saying goes, and But Soon It Will Be Night. All in all though, this book is masterful and powerful, packing an emotional punch, which is made more poignant in today’s world of nearly impersonal war and combat. Literary Debauchery: A sort of blog. Mangling the English language since 1985. Small Town Ghosts teaser. Halloween fiction] Her Revenge. Now, I fly free, my spirit set free by the greedy land developers that uprooted the old cemetery, busted open the ancient coffins, and broke the seals on the spells enslaving me. I roam the bat-haunted skies, searching for one who can help me exact my revenge. What’s going on, she mutters. I take advantage and enter her mouth, heading toward her center, the heart th...

Pulsing like a continuous orgasm through the night. Good Friday does nothing to stop the party. As I push through the throng congregated just inside the entrance. The crowd seems younger. Saturday, May 28, 2011. The genogram project was an exercise in self-discovery for me. To see the career choices of my family members on paper was very enlightening. I have always recognized that families mold individuals through values and attitudes. Through this assignment, I realized just how influential one's family can be on their interests and professional pursuits. I believe that through their example, they instilled the confidence in me to pursue my goal of becoming a school counselor.

Thursday, 27 February 2014. What's In My Hand Luggage? I originally wanted to keep my hand luggage to a minimum and just take a small handbag to avoid having to lug a big bag around, but after deciding to take my DSLR camera with me I realised I would need room in my hand luggage for that. So, I've chosen to take with me a zip up carry bag which can also double up as a beach bag/ day bag to use while I'm there. Now let's see what's inside. Panasonic Lumix TZ8 camera. Mini camera stand/ tripod. Clear cosm...
