Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Thank heavens for Disney and Dora. As you can see, much to my dismay, Paige is already really into characters. I thought we might have a little more time before we hit this phase. I never paid attention to the marketing at grocery stores until now. I could have guessed that the cereal and snack food aisles had lots of characters, but I never noticed that Mickey Mouse was on cheese, or Dora had her own yogurt! She was quite the charmer for the pediatrician - gave her lots of smiles and even said a couple words for her in the office. Monday, November 16, 2009. When daddy is away. The girls will play! We have been doing our best to stay busy while Brian is gone on a 10-day training detachment. Over the past week, we have shopped, played at the park, visited the library, hosted a playdate, and played at The Little Gym (Paige's favorite) in addition to our usual weekly routine. Sunday, October 25, 2009. Off to the pumpkin patch. After stuffing my belly with daddy's famous (just add water no-brainer) pancakes, I settled in for a spectacular Sat morning nap. I mean, who can seriously spend a day at the pumpkin patch on only 12 hours of sleep? Monday, February 1, 2010. It seems that after a busy Christmas season, January flew by in the blink of an eye! Paige insisted on riding her bike any time the sun was shining. Bundled up for a cold run with Daddy. Paige tripped while holding a toy and split her lip. The day after the fall, she was in the mood to show off her wound. The little one took time off from watching Baby Einstein and running around the house in her (affectionately called) "human wrecking ball" mode when she happened upon my old Rubik's cube.
