AmySchrei: August 2010

http://amyschrei.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 28, 2010. The goodbye celebrations with Monika continued with a weekend in Macao, which is an island about and hour away from Hong Kong. A bunch of us had fun eating, shopping, and laughing. We treated Monika to a "skywalk" on the Macao tower. The tower is similar to the space needle in Seattle. The skywalk is 233 meters high. The following weekend was Monika's going away party. It is a certainty that I will go visit her in her new home, Switzerland. Links to this post. Links to this post.

AmySchrei: December 2010

Thursday, December 16, 2010. In Hong Kong, Christmas is widely celebrated. Since most people are not Christian, the decorations are often non-traditional and rather artistic or bizarre. I love the creativity and off-the-wall ideas most of the time, but this year’s Times Square Christmas display makes no sense. Entitled “Crazy X’mas! Links to this post. Friday, December 10, 2010. AmySchrei: March 2011

http://amyschrei.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 31, 2011. Now that Erik has finalized the terms of his localization, we will move into a new apartment. By new, I mean new to us and brand new. We opted for a nice place with good space and wonderful amenities, but will be farther away from downtown. There is a nice mountain view, and I am super excited to have a built-in oven. I'll be sure to post pictures once the place is decorated. Links to this post. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. A Coffee Worth the Wait. Links to this post.

A Day in the Life: December 2008

http://adayinthelife-aggie94.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

A Day in the Life. A blog about my life, which most days consists of just trying to find enough time to eat, sleep, work, work out, and breathe. Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Long time, no post. I know, it's been awhile since my last post. Life has been crazy and hectic and busy and insane. And by "life," I mean work. But when work takes up 12 hours of your day, then it basically becomes life. Why can't Christmas be in January this year? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

A Day in the Life. A blog about my life, which most days consists of just trying to find enough time to eat, sleep, work, work out, and breathe. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Wow  Where the hell has the time gone? I looked around but dont see a way to email you. I have been doing searches online and came across your question regarding Mustard Seed Magic , and just wanted to let you know that I definitely remember it. It was the reader my school used for first grade. July 12, 2011 at 11:19 PM.

A Day in the Life. A blog about my life, which most days consists of just trying to find enough time to eat, sleep, work, work out, and breathe. Saturday, October 29, 2011. On a sad note. On June 9, 2011, we said goodbye to our sweet baby boy, Nacho. He had been with us for over 16 years, which seems like longer than it feels when you're at the end of it. He was so tired, and I know it was his time, but I miss him every day and can still hear his footsteps in the house from time to time. Wow, um, yeah.

A Day in the Life. A blog about my life, which most days consists of just trying to find enough time to eat, sleep, work, work out, and breathe. Sunday, October 5, 2008. Introducing Jeb and Tookie! Don't ask about the names. Che came up with them. He said they look "hickish," and I guess Jeb and Tookie are hickish names? Sara is not a fan so far, and they are not at all fond of Nacho, but I think in time, they will all learn to live peacefully. At least that's my hope. Nice Eva. Did you rescue them?

A Day in the Life. A blog about my life, which most days consists of just trying to find enough time to eat, sleep, work, work out, and breathe. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. I hate being sick. I hope you can rest up this weekend and kick the cold. For the first 6 months of living in Hong Kong, I was constantly sick. I attribute it to being around too many people in small spaces. Now I am immune. I liken it to when a child goes to daycare for the first time- too many new bugs. View my complete profile.

Rest in peace, Ragan. You will be missed. Sunday, June 8, 2008. Courtesy of our friend B. Down for the count. I got up on a wakeboard! I got up on a wakeboard! And I was so excited to be up, that I freaked out and promptly fell down. Who knew that staying up would be so much harder than it looks? Monday, June 2, 2008.

A Day in the Life. A blog about my life, which most days consists of just trying to find enough time to eat, sleep, work, work out, and breathe. Monday, September 22, 2008. Days 16 and 17: Headed Home. From there, we headed back down to our tailor in Tsim Sha Tsui to pick up our clothes. They fit great! That way, you can ride the train in comfort to the airport carrying only your carry-on items and not worry about having to transport large suitcases as well. Very convenient. Or so we thought.
