The Nanny Diaries: May 2009
http://amandaraeevans.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 22, 2009. I wish I had something really exciting to put on my blog since it has been a long, long time since I have updated it! But my life has been pretty ordinary lately. Nothing too exciting is going on. But I did start a new job last month. I have started working with a new family with triplets- and they are all girls this time! Two are identical and one is not. Which is the exact same as the boys I used to take care of! They are very cute and I love dressing them in their clothes!

The Martin Family: Feels Like "Home"
http://martinfamilymission.blogspot.com/2008/07/feels-like-home.html
Serving in Fort Portal, Uganda. Friday, July 04, 2008. Tonight it is cool outside after a good, long rain. I am sitting on the couch in sweats, socks, a tee-shirt and a blanket. Andrew and I love the weather of Fort Portal, especially on rainy, gloomy days. It reminds us so much of the Northwest! I know that it is hard for some of you to believe because, well, we live in Africa! Isn't it suppose to be hot here? Now all we need is a Starbucks to come into town and then my rainy days would be COMPLETE!

The Nanny Diaries: October 2008
http://amandaraeevans.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. My FAVORITE time of year! I love, love, love the fall season! It is so beautiful with all of the leaves changing color, the big fields with all the bright orange pumpkins, and the cool crisp air! It is always exciting to me to wear hats and scarves too! I am so thankful I live in a climate where the weather changes and we have four different seasons,I don't know if I could handle somewhere where that does not happen! It wasn't all it was cracked up to be! We had a lot of fun!

Wednesday, August 16, 2006. I kid you not! Billy turned around and asked me if he really said that and I said he has been saying it for a while now. The wierd thing is he uses it appropriately! He is the smartest kid I have ever raised! Posted by brenda @ 11:19 PM. Thursday, August 03, 2006. We were really grearing up for Jacobs "week-o-shots" We had no idea how many he was going to have to get on Teusday, then he was getting one on Wednesday. Needless to say, we were nervous! True Believer: January 2007

Wednesday, January 17, 2007. I raise my eyes toward the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. The Lord protects you. The Lord is a shelter right by your side. The sun will not strike you by day, or the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life. Posted by brenda @ 10:45 PM.

The Nanny Diaries: The Tale of Four Beds and a Million Mosquitos..
http://amandaraeevans.blogspot.com/2009/01/tale-of-four-beds-and-million-mosquitos.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. The Tale of Four Beds and a Million Mosquitos. It has now been 3 days since Evan was born and I have had some time to think about the events of Friday as I was "laboring" with my sister. It was strange for me to know that my sister was going to be giving birth only 16 months after having Anaiah, and that she was going to be doing it in Uganda! The bed was rather uncomfortable for Aimee and it creeked very loudly anytime any of us sat on it! So we just used hand sanitizer! It was...
