From Our Home to Yours - The Zins Family. Sunday, January 26, 2014. November 10, 2013. Coon Rapids Methodist Church. Abigail's baptism was such a special day. Of course, all babies are blessings, but knowing we could have lost Abby makes her feel like an even bigger blessing and miracle. We were so happy to have our families with us as we committed to nurture Abigail in Christ's church. The service was beautiful. It just so happened that the sermon series was titled Count Your Blessings. She's been worki...

You've Reached The Fullertons: Anderson's Big Day
http://mattandjessfullerton.blogspot.com/2015/06/andersons-big-day.html
Thursday, June 4, 2015. There are a few things to know about our nephew Anderson and his family. 1 His daddy is an avid outdoorsman from Minnesota. Camping, fishing, hunting, kayaking.he does it all! And he's rubbed off on my sister, who comes from a family that never did any of those things. 2 Anderson's a big boy! At 1 year old he weighs 25 lbs. and is tall, just like his dad. So what would be a perfect theme for his first birthday? Why, lumberjack, of course! Breakfast with Ben and Cora. After all the...

Thursday, January 8, 2015. On Our 2nd (and 3rd) Days of Colorado Christmas. Not a lot of photo evidence of our second day in the Springs. We had breakfast and did a little shopping in the morning. We visited Costco and Trader Joe's, both of which we don't have up here in ND and then Ben went back to Grandma and Grandpa's while Matt and I drove up to Denver. Here's Matt looking very thrilled about all the time (and $ ). Ben made out like a bandit because we also got him some more book shelves, a yellow tr...

You've Reached The Fullertons: December 2013
http://mattandjessfullerton.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 16, 2013. The sensitive, sentimental, nostalgic part of my personality rears its head especially. Around this time of year when families are gathering and we’re engaging in old traditions or creating new ones. I’m at an age where I’m an adult; I have a child of my own after all, but it wasn't all that long ago when I was still a kid. Well heaven only knows. That packages and bows. A hurting human soul. And of course, the chorus:. No more lives torn apart. That wars would never start.

You've Reached The Fullertons: February 2015
http://mattandjessfullerton.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 23, 2015. Let's go back a little bit.it's the early morning hours of January 22nd. I wake up around 2 AM with what feels like contractions. I lie in bed for about an hour thinking "This is it. I think this it it! Eventually I feel myself falling asleep and realize.ok, maybe this wasn't it. For me, it was about three hours from the time we arrived there and when Evan came into the world. If by chance we decided to have a third, I might finally cave and try an epidural. Seriously - nat...

You've Reached The Fullertons: October 2014
http://mattandjessfullerton.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 17, 2014. A late September Saturday brought temperatures into the 80's (only to plunge us back down to the 50's a week or so later) so we decided to take Ben to Papa's Pumpkin Patch to enjoy the weather. Matt would be leaving the following weekend for the Great American Beer Festival in Denver and we wanted to have some family time as he had just returned from a five day work trip (also in Denver! That slide was burning up in the sun! Ben - 2014 - 2 1/2 years old! With Mommy in 2012.

You've Reached The Fullertons: August 2014

Thursday, August 7, 2014. Going back to a little over a month ago, I'd like to share some photos of our 4th of July weekend. It was actually pretty quiet. Since we've moved to Bismarck usually my parents come down for Art in the Park and to watch the fireworks show at the Capitol. This year was no different except that Ben was another year older and finally could really appreciate the fireworks! It was a hot day, but the weather was beautiful. Ben was loving this watermelon,. Ben thought those were great!

You've Reached The Fullertons: May 2015
http://mattandjessfullerton.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Today marks one month since I've been back to work. If you don't know, North Dakota state employees are allowed to bring their babies to work through their six month of age. I did this with Ben back in 2012 and Evan is along for the ride now as well. So how is it going? Evan's day at work with me varies, but it usually looks something like this:. 8:00 AM - Arrive at work - sometimes a little late if we were extra tired and slept in (oops! Or Ben is cranky. 11:15 AM - Bottle time!

Wednesday, January 22, 2014. The weekend after Christmas Matt's parents flew back to Colorado and we drove up to Minot to have "Second Christmas" with my sister and her family. We were, as usual, very excited to see our niece Cora and how much she had changed in the few months since we visited Madison. You can see here she's like "Why is this happening to me? Then Ben realized he likes to hug and kiss Cora. Which gives new meaning to "Kissing Cousins." But it's still adorable. Glamour shot of Lily. For C...
