Monday, June 15, 2015. We celebrated Thomas's birthday over the weekend. It was a two day affair because work and cub scout camp. On his actual birthday Andy went to work and Ellie and I went out to breakfast at the Belgian Waffle House and Pancake Inn. It has really good food for a good price. It was nice to spend time with Ellie and talk about Thomas and how it was his birthday. Afterwards we went up to Silver Lake and walked around and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains. Monday, July 27, 2015. Pioneer Day and the rest of the weekend. Before I married Andy I had never heard of Pioneer Day. Its never really been a big deal to me like it is to the rest of Utah. It celebrates the pioneers coming to Utah for religious freedom. Its on par with the 4th of July in Utah. A big parade is done downtown and they put all the floats on display in an expo center a few days before, so we went and looked at those. Ellie insisted on wearing her hat like this. Thursday, July 23, 2015. We love Draper Days! It is such a weekend with a fair, parade and fireworks. On Friday we met up with our friends, the Wampler's, and went to the fair at the park. They had rides, jump houses, tons of food, pony rides, and a reptile exhibit. Saturday we went to the Lions Club breakfast and then went across the street to the parade. Monday, July 13, 2015. We are thrilled to be adding another little girl to our family! We already decided on a name, Penelope Marie. Penelope is just a name that we both really like, and Marie is my mom's middle name. Ellie is so excited to be getting a sister, and has been telling everyone who will listen. Thankfully we still have all of Ellie's clothes and by just getting some leggings, and sweaters, they will all work great for Penelope in November. We can't wait for our Thanksgiving baby to be here!

Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Our New Favorite Hotel. Hyrum was asking where I wanted to stay the night of our wedding. I didn't really have much preference except that I'd love to have a giant bath tub in the room! Being the wonderful man that he is, he searched the whole Salt Lake Valley for my Giant Tub and he succeeded. We were both surprised by the hotel and location. Best Western Plus in Midvale Utah is the place to go when you are looking for nice rooms and big bath tubs! It was such a cool room!
