Friday, July 17, 2009. This Place Still Strikes Me as Odd. Medical care here is pretty sketchy. Last time I was here, a guy down the hall had a stroke in his office. It was so bad that he couldn't talk before they got him out of his office. They took him to the hospital and the next day they sent him home with baby aspirin! I was [still am] horrified! Here's a couple of pictures from our adventure. He loved watching the meerkats. Look at the ducks down there, Luke! He was amazed by the Komoto Dragon. On the boat ride we saw monkeys, a huge snake, a large lizard, and several different kinds of birds. I loved seeing Amazima and hearing first hand more about their programs.
