This trip to Haiti is a first in a sense. Yes, I've lived in Haiti before and spent many months there on my own and with others. But this is the first time I'll go to Haiti without my sister Fifi waiting for me to arrive. The first time I'll be leaving her behind in the States. This time it's harder to leave my life in the States behind.
