An update on some non-red and red kitties whom we know and love. Cajsa, born, 29th May 1999, died 9th July 2015. This is the very last photo of my first cat, Cajsa. My daughter, Elisabet, and her father, took Cajsa to the vet's, where she was put to sleep. Cajsa is buried on the farm in a grave next to her daughter, Sara. Who died 6th February 2013.

Out walking with Trojan across the fields earlier in the week we found mushrooms popping up all over the place. I do not know how to identify them so have no idea if they were safe to eat so left them be, Trojan didn't think they smelt too appetising either! None the less.they were great photo material! This one is upside down but I left it this way. I'm kind of fond of this.

Sunday, 22 February 2015. Well over the last few weeks I have been a little worried about the beehives. You do the best you can in winter but you never really know what is going to happen so it is left up to fate as to what will happen. This was my assumption but not certainty so I wouldn't risk going into the hives just in case as I would have to go down to the brood chamber to really determine what had gone wrong and then if there was nothing wrong the cold could kill the colony. 65279;. Friday, 25 April 2014. First solo hive inspection. So, two weeks ago I carried out my first solo hive inspection. Well almost.why do I say almost? Well John who also attended the course I went on last year came too but not to inspect the bees but to photograph them as I did the inspection so although he was present at the time he was busy behind a camera whilst I was inside the hives having a look.
