Holy Smoke, they are fast". And they are yellow! Sum it all up. I like these shoes. I've never done a full marathon in a minimal shoe before, but i've done plenty of half's in minimal shoes. Wednesday, February 13, 2013. The Ultimate Long Run Contemplation. I begin to wonder whether or not I have hit a new level in my running. Is a marathon no longer good enough? Am I no longer feeling that a marathon is a challenge? Am I looking for the brag factor that comes from running 30 miles at one time. That may seem shockingly early to many of you, but I was ready both physically and emotionally (what can I say? I’m a quick healer). Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Race Report: Vigor 13.1. I ran a race. You know, it's the only time that I update this darn blog. The Saturday before Mother's Day, I woke up at 3am for my first half marathon of the year. Caught a bus at 4am and waited around at the start line until 5:30am when they made us walk about a mile and a half down to the start line. Another Day, Another Polish. Sunday, April 20, 2014. This is the first picture of my nails in a long time that I am actually happy with. Not 100% perfect, but some improvement over the disaster they were this winter! This is Zoya Hudson from the Awaken spring 2014 collection. I just love this. So springy but a little different than the usual pastel. The shimmer in this shows up just silver, but it's gold and pink in real life. Just gorgeous! Hope you had a Happy Easter if you celebrate it!
