http://monicasimonds.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2009. My Own Version of Freecycle. I love clothes.and shoes. But not just any clothes.really nice clothes ON SALE! I also have clothes I can't seem to part with. Now, let me say that I am not the same size I was just a few years ago. So, I have a collection of suits from Dillard's that I bought for at least 75% off.because I could.and they are mostly 1's and 3's. I am NOT a 1 nor a 3! What to do. What to do. Now that there's a little space in my closet. Wednesday, January 28, 2009.

Monica's Musings: February 2009
http://monicasimonds.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 17, 2009. V-Dayand then it's just downhill. Well, who was my valentine? Try 16 teenagers at a debate tournament ALL weekend. Darn those kids. They kept winning. And they didn't have enough judges so I had to judge EVERY round.including one round of CX. I hate CX! I'd rather poke pens in my eyes. I thought about doing that because then I couldn't write out the ballot so I wouldn't have to judge, but they said they were so short of judges I'd have to judge anyway. I Failed a Test? For tho...

Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Who's daughter is the Distrist 9 5A First Team All-District Centerfielder? That would be me! Yep, she did it in spite of my genes. Pumpkin was so proud of herself she spent an hour on the phone calling all the grandparents and uncles and anyone else who would listen. If only getting an A would mean that much to her. PS Still waiting on the results of my second interview. June 3, 2009 at 11:32 AM. How did the second interview go? When is school out? June 3, 2009 at 7:38 PM.

Monica's Musings: March 2009
http://monicasimonds.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 27, 2009. Day SEVEN, EIGHT and NINE! We did it. We bought the car. It's a 1999 BMW 528i.which probably doesn't mean much to most of you. Here's what I know.it's SAFE! It has so many airbags and these steel beams in the doors so Pumpkin is safer than in a smaller or older car without those features. It even has a CD changer in the trunk.remember when they put them there? Yea, now she just needs a license.and a job! That insurance isn't going to pay itself! Day Five AND Six! And then it was "...

Tuesday, July 29, 2008. First Day of School Excitement. So, in the true spirit of the nerd that I am, I have had one whole day away from summer school and I've found myself googling new activities for the first day of school. They have no cure for this illness of mine so I thought I'd just go with it. I actually found some really cool ones. Here are my favorites. 1 From Kim's Korner. Make it all about you. Make a bulletin board about yourself. Include pictures. 4 From Education World. 7 My TTF got a good...

Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Stephen Turns 45.Well, Not Really! I had the bright idea to throw Stephen a surprise birthday party. It all began 5 years ago when he turned 40. I just couldn't get it together. 50 seems such a long way off so I could not resist 45! So I invited a few friends (he'd want it small) and began to plan. Wow. I don't think I've slept. Here's why. Stephen checks our bank account at least once a day. How was I supposed to pay for anything? He found the email that confirmed shipping!

Half Empty: Defund Major League Baseball !!
http://halfempth.blogspot.com/2013/10/defund-major-league-baseball.html
Wednesday, October 09, 2013. Defund Major League Baseball! OK, there is nothing that I can write tonight that will top. To TEA Party Republican Jack Kingston of Georgia. It seems that a disgruntled Braves fan wants him to outlaw Major League Baseball until the LA Dodgers (who won the NLDS pennant last night) relinquish their title. A title they won because the Braves "couldn't score enough runs.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Famous Quotations that I love:. So I Was Wondering. Say NO to Outsourcing.

Half Empty: Couldn't Resist
http://halfempth.blogspot.com/2013/10/couldnt-resist.html
Sunday, October 27, 2013. Perusing websites looking for nerdy science jokes. My classes eat them up. Couldn't resist borrowing one for the website as it is 100 percent appropriate. And then there is this one. Totally INappropriate. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Famous Quotations that I love:. 8220;I have been thinking that I would make a proposition to my Republican friends… that if they will stop telling lies about the Democrats,we will stop telling the truth about them”. So I Was Wondering.

Thursday, January 29, 2009. Brooklyn turned Two-years-old this past Tuesday. I can't hardly believe that my little girl is growing up so fast. She is such a sweet girl that is very curious about everything. We were able to throw her a little birthday party with all her friends from Nursery. Here are a few of the pics we took. Brooklyn getting ready to blow out her candles. Brooklyn and Kinsley on Brooklyn's new slide that she got from her Grammy and Grandpa. Brooklyn in her party dress.
