On what really goes on at home. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Josie - 7 months. She's actually 8 months tomorrow - 8 months! I love holding her, kissing her, snuggling with her, sleeping with her - I can't get enough! They" say the third child is the easiest and I have to agree. Josie is so easy-going, attentive, social, and happy ALL THE TIME! And is still a little unsteady when STANDING. But she loves to JUMP. She babbles constantly - BA BA BA. And (Alex's favorite) DA DA DA. She loves to EAT! We did a ...

LarsonGrove: August 2008
http://larsongrove.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 18, 2008. What makes a great summer? The first thing to do to have a great summer is to go somewhere where they have great weather. Oh, how about Ventura? The next thing to do to have a great summer is to have two adorable and somewhat messy grandchildren and their mother come for an extended visit. But the best part was when W21, after eating his own piece of cookie cake, stuck his finger all the visible chocolate in the remaining cookie. (M4 vowed that he wasn't about to eat any of t...

Robinsons in real time: February 2012
http://realrobinsons.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 27, 2012. For the occasion, L1 wore what he calls his party shirt. Festive, no? His birthday was pretty low key, starting with his favorite dinner. Macaroni and cheese with hot dogs (I know. Our fingers are crossed that his palate will improve). Then we moved directly on to present opening. My favorite moment was when he opened the LEGO minifigure keychain and exclaimed, "A keychain! It is what I've always wanted! Friday, February 24, 2012. February break: Splash Lagoon. Robinsons in real time: One month of M1
http://realrobinsons.blogspot.com/2012/07/one-month-of-m1.html
Wednesday, July 11, 2012. One month of M1. As of yesterday, M1 has been here for one month. She is fitting in seamlessly as the adored younger sister of a boisterous set of older siblings. It won't last forever, and I sense an intense H1/M1 rivalry on the horizon. But when L1 repeats several times a day how cute she is, and wonders if he can hold her, and H1 kisses her forehead repeatedly, and W1 gazes at her and plays with her toes, I have hope for the future. She definitely looks like one of your kiddos.

On what really goes on at home. Thursday, February 12, 2009. McKenzie nodded off for a few minutes tonight before dinner. At the dinner table, we had the following conversation:. Mc: I dreamed about our family. But we're not all here. Me: Oh, who's missing? Mc: The baby. Me: Baby Josie? J: She's not missing, she's just in your belly. Mc: But it's taking too long.
