March 29, 2013. Bucn It Up, Chavez Style: Pirates Preview '013. HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL, ALLEGEDLY. The author is one of the most irresponsible employees in the history of America-Thrust, disappearing for months at a time, ignoring deadlines, missing scheduled flights, and engaging in an unprofessional amount of general asshattery. It has reached the point at which the staff is seriously considering a mutiny against the author, who also, for the time being, holds the position of editor-publisher-at-large.

Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Tomato Soup For The No-Longer-Teenage Soul. I've now fully (and mostly successfully) transitioned into the next decade-long phase of ladydom. Oh sure, there were some tears and a bit of contemplative brooding with regards to my fleeting mortality - but only minimal kicking and screaming. At this point, that goes down as a victory - put it in the books! IT TAKES ALL KINDS. TOASTING AGING LADIES EVERYWHERE, WITH A BIT OF GREAT LAKES OKTOBERFEST. IT'S GETTING KINDA STEAMY IN HERE.

Friday, January 4, 2013. Black-Eyed Peas and Rice:. ARE THOSE BLACK-EYED PEAS OR THE LUCK OF THE SOUTH? ALL GOOD THINGS START WITH A POUND OF BACON. A lively back story and some old-school street cred, yes - but how are they in any way lucky? And what better way to ring in the New Year than with a bellyfull of luck and prosperity? PHOTO-THRUST!!: February 2012

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Boulder Creek: Eben G. Fine. This is a shot of the Boulder Creek from the bridge in Eben G. Fine Park. It had snowed a few days prior, so there were still some icy patches clinging to the edges of the water. It was a really cold and kind of windy day, which was perfect, because it kept all the joggers at home and provided me ample time to crank out shots without anyone spoiling the view. Friday, February 24, 2012. Church In the Valley. Focal length: 5.6mm. Focal length: 55 mm.
