What has amazed me is by in large, JT has done most of this on his own. John and I were able to take his love of being in the pool and his gift of always wanting to move to his full advantage. JT swimming on his own in the shallow end. If he's in the pool, he's a happy boy. Even happier if he's swimming with his Daddy.

You can easily be converted into mini warriors! Lindsay cut off a few sleeves on her shirts and let JT and Mason wear them as hats. Mason and JT immediately went into ninja mode and started posing, chopping, and kicking. It was hilarious and adorable at the same time. Mason protecting his Angry Bird. Fine form my young student. While we were home bound (actually we still are) from the ice/snow storm that hit us yesterday, we managed to have some fun- sledding! We bundled everyone up, gathered our sleds and tubes, and headed out! Lindsay, JT, Courtney and her 2 friends from club ball, Emma and Sophia. We all waked up to the top of the hill where there were several groups from the neighborhood sledding already. The 3 amigos did the first run. My two #1 men!

It was really nice to have the entire family in town to be part of the festivities. While Lindsay was at school, John, Sarah, and I decorated the house with streamers, balloons, and Happy Birthday signs. Walking into the festive house brought a big smile to Lindsay's face. After we returned home from dinner, it was present time!
