Alf Emty - diary. Half full or half empty - it's the same amount of beer. Wednesday, 22 July 2015. Crossed fingers and an anti inflammatory injection in the knee joint. The following day I could barely bend my knee more than ten degrees, Although the limited movement improved, since then there have been relatively few days when even walking doesn't cause my knee to pop, click and nag. I have managed to get out and walk some of my local area which has allowed me to do some litter picking in Apedale. When the pain is at its worst even walking is out. It is particularly frustrating not to be out at this time of year while nature is so beautiful and eventful. Recommencement of mining at Bignall. There is an action group Facebook page here.
