Jiri's Panoptikum: Namibia
http://blog.jirirezac.com/2014/07/namibia.html
Beautiful the poetry of light and shadow, bittersweet the memory now that I am back under the grey skies of Blighty. Anyway, I thought I'd bore you with my holiday snaps, perhaps they can take you away from your day for a moment or two. Expedition, reportage and portrait photographer Jiri Rezac based in London, UK. Jiri's Panoptikum: Burberry did it!
http://blog.jirirezac.com/2014/01/burberry-did-it.html
It never ceases to amaze me how little is. Required when dealing with a company with a high public profile and a good reputation to lose. In this case, we're talking about the fashion brand Burberry. And Greenpeace's recent Detox campaign. The environmental group called on the luxury label to end the use of hazardous and toxic chemicals during the manufacturing process of its clothes. Doing the right thing is nice work! View my complete profile. Year end in Hamburg. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Jiri's Panoptikum: She's called Daphne...
http://blog.jirirezac.com/2015/05/shes-called-daphne.html
In February, I spent a few wonderful days in the small town of Fowey. Cornwall - I was accompanying eminent French writer Tatiana De Rosnay. On the footsteps of novelist Daphne Du Maurier. Whom she had written a an impassioned biography about. The longer we talked and walked, and the more details we uncovered, the more Tatiana's persona began morphing into Daphne's.a fascinating process to observe. Here are the results: a nice spread in Le Parisien Magazine. And a few of my favourites.

Jiri's Panoptikum: Shifting Perspectives
http://blog.jirirezac.com/2013/12/shifting-perspectives.html
What more could you want on a lazy Sunday? Good light, a bit of energy and three wonderful tilt-shift lenses in the bag to experiment with. Following on from the somewhat old Tilting and Shifting. I have once again found my more playful visual side and went for a walk through London's east end. Expedition, reportage and portrait photographer Jiri Rezac based in London, UK. Jiri's Panoptikum: Tilting and Shifting - Part I
http://blog.jirirezac.com/2009/12/tilting-and-shifting-part-i.html
Tilting and Shifting - Part I. In November, I was blessed with a lush financial shower; Or rather, a whole bunch of late-paying clients decided to finally cough up and there was, for once, money in my account. Of course it didn't stay there for long - I'm a photographer after all, and none the wiser with money than I ever was. So I did what I always do when feeling flush: spend some! I splashed out on a second-hand, 90mm tilt and shift lens. From Canon, courtesy of my friend Adrian Arbib.

Jiri's Panoptikum: On the Tuna Trail
http://blog.jirirezac.com/2013/08/on-tuna-trail.html
On the Tuna Trail. Having been in the Indian Ocean on a two-month Greenpeace expedition. Documenting the nature of Tuna fishing, this story is difficult to tell. Although we had a well-equipped ship, radar, satellite internet, inflatable boats, and even a helicopter at our disposal, monitoring fishing activities in the vast expanse of sea is like looking for a needle in a very large haystack. Here we witnessed several transhipments from Asian longliners. They cast their large nets around schools of fish ...

Jiri's Panoptikum: Meeting Bernie
http://blog.jirirezac.com/2014/01/meeting-bernie.html
Last week had a surprise for me in store: I met a charming old gentleman called Bernie Ecclestone. Known to most as the F1 supremo, or in other words - the man that dominates Formula One racing. No doubt he is a very astute and wealthy business magnate, a shrewd negotiator not without controversy. Hence our interview with him, which largely centred on the court cases against him in which he is accused of bribery. View my complete profile. Year end in Hamburg. Simple template. Jiri's Panoptikum: Strictly Tuna Business
http://blog.jirirezac.com/2013/05/strictly-tuna-business.html
For the past two weeks, the Greenpeace ship Esperanza has been patrolling the Indian Ocean north of Mauritius. We ventured into an area known as the 'reefer triangle', a maritime no-man's land on the unregulated high seas where. To offload their catch of Yellowfin Tuna. We witnessed several transhipments from Taiwanese longliners onto the Tuna Queen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.
