永久典藏及保存客家具 稀缺性 、 重要性 、 代表性 及 瀕危性 之文化資源。 新竹縣陶社詩會 原名 關西陶社 ，創立於日大正13年(1924)的五月節(農曆5月5日)，由當時龍潭大儒邱世濬(字筱園)所創，命名為 陶社 ，取其詩可以陶冶性情之意，當時關西的文人宿儒、志趣相投者紛紛加入，如沈梅岩、徐開祿、陳旺回、黃德洋、葉步嶯、吳錦來、魏雲欽、羅享彩等人，皆一時俊秀、社會名流。 陶社是新竹縣唯一僅存的詩社，每兩個月有一次 課題 活動 每年開設漢學基礎班，招募新血加入 五月五日詩人節則辦理全國性的擊缽吟詩大會。 1966年報紙刊出這樣的消息 竹東區山歌比賽……於二月九日(天倉日)舉行，此次比賽報名日期於元月廿六日起至二月二日止，參加比賽資格限定為竹 東、芎林、橫山、北埔、峨眉、寶山、五峰、尖石等八鄉鎮農民，於報名時必須出示國民身份證。 Hellip;… 比賽 在竹東鎮 兒童樂園自由亭前舉行，分山歌仔、老山歌、平板等三組。 客服信箱: thcdcservice@mail.hakka.gov.tw.
