From the Arctic to Australia: February 2012
http://arctictoaustralia.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 25, 2012. We're pretty much all moved in to the new place! No internet yet (I'm using the hotspot thing on my phone). I'm hoping to post properly soon and show pictures of the new place and the baby. I've been doing a little knitting too. Aurora and I are going swimming with some of the mums from my mother's group. Should be fun and a perfect day to do it, it's supposed to be 37 or 38C today. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. View my complete profile.

From the Arctic to Australia: September 2010

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. There are a lot of fruit that I've had here for the first. And then there are the ones that I've had back home and didn't like because well, eating tropical fruit in a decidedly non-tropical location is a bit of a gamble. I tried a real. Mangoes are actually my favourite fruit now! Funny how that happens! I've had papaya before back home and I've had dried papaya which I don't mind at all. Now that I think about it, I've also had papaya in canned tropical fruit mix. Y...I thi...

From the Arctic to Australia: Trying to get into the groove again.
http://arctictoaustralia.blogspot.com/2012/01/trying-to-get-into-groove-again.html
Monday, January 23, 2012. Trying to get into the groove again. So we're a month into the new year and I haven't blogged yet. I've been meaning to but every time I sit down I don't really know what to say? We haven't been up to a whole heck of a lot - well nothing that would make exciting blog material anyway. Here's a few pictures of her with her Christmas stocking:. In the mean time, to get some of my blogging mojo back, is there anything anyone wants me to write about? Ask in the comments! Trying to ge...

Sunday, July 3, 2011. I am probably the worst blogger around at the moment! Another thing is not a whole lot has been happening! We haven't gone on any other trips, gone on any long weekend excursions or day trips. We're both basically working (virtually opposite days off), coming home, sleeping and going back to work again. There's the occasional midwife visit thrown in there and the regular Sunday dinner at Glen's parents and really. That's as exciting as it's gotten around here! The baby can come earl...

Friday, January 27, 2012. Beautiful Day for a Walk. We took a load of things over to the new place yesterday and Glen's taking some things over on his way home from work. If we take little loads like this when it comes to moving the big stuff it should only take one trip (that is if I can convince Glen we need to hire a truck rather than using a tiny trailer! Aurora was in a great mood while we were unloading things and happily sat in her capsule and wiggled around on the floor. Happy baby in her capsule.

http://arctictoaustralia.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 21, 2010. Dragons, Pottery and Gold! Glen and I finally had a weekend off together last week. It'll likely be our last days off together until Christmas day and even then, we won't have the day to ourselves. We took advantage of the freedom and spent the day in Bendigo. The drive was quick and easy - basically we get on the freeway near the house and keep driving and it takes us straight there (no turns or anything! Random shot of our rainy drive home. Underground but I was fine. Par...

Zen ... Cats ... Yarn: May 2008
http://zencatsyarn.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Zen Cats . Yarn. Musings on yarn and knitting, with a baby and kitties added for good measure. Sunday, May 4, 2008. From Canada, with love. Last week proved to be one filled with all sorts of goodness coming from north of the border. On Friday, a dreary, rainy day here in Indiana, I received my Spring Swap box from Meg. The box had this lovely, happy sketch on the outside:. Open it up to find this:. Nope, she didn't send Sunny to me - Sunny just comes running at the faintest scent/sound of tissue paper).
