Jamie Keller, MFA Candidate, Art Institute of Boston. Thursday, October 31, 2013. I had to take a step back and assess the viability of my ideas. Too many of my earlier ideas have blossomed into dead ends. Well, crap. I've been experimenting with heating sheet metal followed by rapid quenching as a means to deform it. The result is an undulating surface with no tool marks. The plan is to create shapes using straight, flat stock and deform it. Whelp, that's the plan - - -. Posted by Jamie Keller.

And though the news was rather sad. Well, I just had to laugh. I saw the photograph. He blew his mind out in a car. He didn't notice that the lights had changed. A crowd of people stood and stared. They'd seen his face before. Nobody was really sure if he was from the house of lords. I saw a film today oh, boy. Having read the book.

Be still my beating heart. Worked out some color issues. Now to figure out how to hang it in my crit space. I don't want it to look like it's being suspended by a stairway to heaven (gallows pole). Cement vessel with metal wrap. Ran out of oxy/acetylene again. More after Thanksgiving. Posted by Jamie Keller.
