Fehti - Martolamme Website

The writing system used by the Mártönérsi is the fehti. A detailed description about the fehti is in Chapter 2 in the book, Kessë K'Mártölammë. It explains the characters and their usage. Briefly, the Fehte writing system is a logosyllabic system. It uses syllabograms representing syllables and logograms representing whole Mártönérse abstractions. The Fehti font is in the True Type file, FehteMartonerseRegular.

I finally finished Chapter 4. I added Chapters 14 and 20. In addition, I finalized Chapters 1 though 3. I will work on some other chapters later. I am still working on Chapter 4. I have cleaned up some errors in all previous chapters, which have been reposted.

I am currently working on the book, Kessë K'Mártölammë. The book introduces and describes the language of the Mártönérsi. As time permits, I will update this Web site with new chapters in PDF form. This Web site displays the language and writing system of the Mártönérsi. The language is Mártölammë, meaning the "tongue of Mártö". The Mártönérsi founded Ïs'sena, their homeland. After many generations, Mártölammë developed into a distinct "tongue". The Mártönérsi created a writing system, the Fehti, which developed separately from their cousins. The older writing systems were pictographic and/or ideographic systems that descended from the Aðamic writing system.
